This sculptural ceramic piece is hand-formed from stoneware clay and shaped into a small, floating planetary form reminiscent of a miniature world. Its surface is intentionally irregular, with organic protrusions and clustered textures that evoke both celestial terrain and microscopic life forms.

Finished in layered high-fire glazes, the surface shifts between subtle planetary tones and more biological, virus-like patterns—creating a tension between the cosmic and the cellular. The result is a piece that feels at once alien, living, and quietly poetic.

Inspired loosely by the idea of a tiny planet seen in stories like The Little Prince, B612 Drift explores themes of isolation, scale, and imagination. It sits somewhere between sculpture, artifact, and imagined world—inviting the viewer to decide whether it belongs in space, under a microscope, or in a dream.
